With over a million international arrivals expected in Bali this holiday season, Melasti Beach is enhancing traffic management by adding Pecalang (traditional Balinese security officers) and opening a new parking area to reduce congestion on its narrow roads.

“Adding more Pecalang is crucial to ensure smooth traffic flow and a comfortable experience for visitors,” said Wayan Karnawa, Head of Melasti Beach Management.

Visitor numbers are projected to increase by 10-20% compared to last year, with daily arrivals reaching 3,000 during peak times. If sustained, this could bring 1.1 million visitors by the end of the year.

Tourists are drawn to Melasti Beach for its white sands, clear waters, and improved facilities. Neighboring areas like Ungasan, home to attractions like Green Bowl and Padang-Padang Beach, are also gaining traction as Uluwatu becomes busier.

As the Nataru holiday season approaches, travelers are urged to book accommodations and flights early, as Bali’s top hotels, resorts, and activities fill up fast. New eVisa on Arrival services will further ease travel by streamlining airport immigration processes.

Melasti Beach is ready to welcome visitors for a festive season filled with beauty and culture.
